About Us
Our cabins are nestled in the heart of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia. Sitting on our covered porches, you can relax listening to the melodious song of the New River, which can be found nestled alongside the New River State Park trail. The trail can be used for biking, hiking and horseback riding. It is not uncommon to see primitive camping by the river, as well as fishermen enjoying an afternoon of wetting their lines in the river's enticing blue waters.

OUR STORY
Our story dates back to our childhood where we both grew up enjoying the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are endless opportunities, activities, festivals, and trails to explore. Relaxation activities abound and we realized that we would like the opportunity to share the simple pleasures of life that we enjoy with others. So we view our cabins as a way to give your family a place to visit and call home for a few days while you experience all that the mountains and river have to offer.

We strive to make our cabins feel like a home away from home. Some ammenities that we offer include a fully furnished kitchen with a microwave, full sized refrigerator and stove as well as a combined dining area and living room with satellite TV. If you join us for an early spring or autumn getaway you will enjoy the gas logs in your cabin, as well as a chiminea to build a fire out on our observation deck. Each cabin has two bedrooms and a full sized bathroom. Our summer nights are usually very cool where a mountain breeze feels wonderful blowing through the windows, but we also have air conditioning in each cabin. And one of our favorite amenities is our covered porch for each cabin which boasts rocking chairs, a porch swing, a table and a gas grill. This is a great place to sit, put your feet up, and listen to the song of the river.

We hope you can come and make our home your home for a little while. We welcome couples, families, church groups, family reunions, business retreats, and anyone who wants to experience the peace and tranquility that the mountains and river have to offer. The river is about a ten minute walk from our cabins. The mountains surround us. We hope to see you soon. We will leave the light on for you.
